As a child I preferred tests with essays rather than questions. I disliked answers that were either true or false or A B C D. I imagine other writers did as well. In other words I am more right brained than left and thrive on creativity. I believe if you have the option and the ability to make a choice never give that up. It's a gift that should be embraced. I am married and have two grown daughters. I also have two loyal four legged family members. My favorite book I gave my children is the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Some of their favorite books as children were the Berenstain Bears series. Normally I read to them at night however when it came to the Berenstain Bears their dad did. He liked the series as much as they did so it became for them a memory to cherish. As for me I have many books I like and cannot pick a favorite. My favorite television show currently is Once Upon A Time. The genre I prefer to write is contemporary fairy tales.
